The Hugh Hefner Auction
Share
This is one of the projects that I found to be the most interesting and fun projects that I've worked on to date. Chadmichael asked me to meet him at the space in Beverly HIlls but did not tell me anything about the project that we were working on. When I arrived at the site, Chadmichael asked me to go over to the table and open up the book to where the sticky was sticking out. The book just said "Hef" and I opened it with mad curiosity. The page I opened to was a photp of the graveyard that was created for the out side of the mansion in Los Angeles for Halloween. I recognized it immediately as I had been there with a group of girlfriends one year for a Halloween party. I looked at Chadmichael and said "I was there that year!" and his response was "That's why you're going to help me recreate the mansion for the auction". Chadmichael was brilliant at creating provocative yet classy window dressings, stagings, and auction viewings. It was an absolute honor to be a part of this project. Here's a photo view of the process and the auction:
I just had to...

Even Hef's clothes were auctioned off...
We created quite the environment. It was a great layout, and from what I heard, everything sold.
