This painting is mixed media. I started with acrylic on the framing, then painted over in oils, oil for the interior image, French plaster for the textures, then resin to create the window, then varnished. Layers and layers and layers and layers!!!!! The inspiration for this painting was a photo of a woman with a similar tattoo.
