The Voyeur is an original mixed-media painting from The Cosmic Blue Collection, a body of visionary work that began as dream transmissions and whose deeper meanings emerged years later through shadow work and self-discovery.

The painting explores the experience of constant visibility in the modern world—being watched through our phones, televisions, computers, cameras, and even through windows without our knowledge. The perspective is deliberately that of someone looking in from outside, creating the unsettling sensation of observing a private moment from a hidden vantage point.

The sacred geometry tattooed onto the figure represents what I came to understand as the encryption codes of the Universe—a language hidden in plain sight.

Layers of the Work

The Voyeur is physically built through layer upon layer of materials and processes. I began with acrylic on the canvas, followed by oil paint throughout the composition and the interior figure. French plaster creates the dimensional textures, while resin forms the window and its reflective surface. Gold leaf adds another element of luminosity before the final varnish seals the work.

Eight or more layers create a surface that is meant to be experienced slowly—revealing something different with each look.

The original inspiration came from a photograph of a woman with a similar sacred geometry tattoo, which became the starting point for the visual language of the work.

The Meaning

The viewpoint from outside the window makes the viewer both voyeur and participant. We are looking in, while simultaneously becoming aware that we, too, exist within a world of constant observation.

The Voyeur is ultimately about being poised in the new era of visibility—aware that we are seen, and choosing how we meet that gaze.
